No dogs

Since covid, the number of people wanting to bring their dogs into the garden has reached unmanageble levels. This is a garden enjoyed by a lot of small children, and it is horrible for them to come across plastic parcels of dog poo that dog owners leave behind. Visitors' dogs also cause problems with other garden visitors who may be allergic to, or frightened of dogs. We have a pair of very friendly Golden Retrievers ourselves, but will keep them indoors should anybody be afraid of dogs.

The gate to the garden will probably be closed. This is simply to keep our neighbours' sheep and cattle out, and our dogs in. A closed gate does not signify a closed garden, it is not closed to visitors.
